asked

how and where do you source your matcha?

at maison matcha we take pride in offering our customers only the finest quality matcha sourced directly from japan.

our matcha is 100% organic and is made from the finest shade-grown tea leaves, carefully handpicked and stone-ground to ensure maximum flavor and quality.

we work directly with trusted japanese growers who share our commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices, so you can be sure that you're getting the best matcha available.

our ceremonial grade matcha is harvested in shizuoka, japan — a region celebrated for its lush tea fields, pristine water, and ideal climate for green tea cultivation. it’s made from the yabukita cultivar, japan’s most beloved and widely grown tea variety, prized for its naturally balanced flavor, bright green color, and gentle umami. This means your matcha has a smooth, rich taste with subtle sweetness, low bitterness, and a vibrant, fresh aroma — perfect for traditional preparation or lattes.

is your matcha organic?

yes — our matcha is USDA and JAScert certified organic.

this means it’s grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. this is important because it protects the environment, supports soil health, and ensures you’re drinking a pure, clean product.

with matcha, you’re consuming the entire tea leaf, so choosing organic means avoiding potential chemical residues while getting the full health benefits in their most natural form.
